Taking place on Friday, 6 June 2025 at the stunning Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, within the John Hope Gateway, this exclusive event promises an intimate atmosphere like no other.

How to Enter

  • Text entries will be charged at your standard network message rate.
  • You must be 18 or over and have the bill payer's permission to enter.
  • Once we receive confirmation of your entry, a one-off voluntary donation of £3 will be made to the registered Scottish charity SAMH, Scottish Action for Mental Health (SC008897), unless you opt out within 30 minutes of receiving your confirmation text.
  • The prize draw opens on 2 May 2025 and runs across various social media channels operated by Nathan Evans, SAINT PHNX and Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH).
  • You can text up to 5 times for 5 entries to the competition.
  • The promotion period opens on Friday, 2 May 2025, 08:00 a.m. and closes on Sunday, 11 May 2025, 11:59 p.m.
  • Entries made after the close date of Sunday, 11 May 2025, 11:59 p.m. will not count and may still be charged.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. THE PRIZE DRAW
  • 1.1 The “Prize Draw” is: The Gardens Sessions with Nathan Evans and The SAINT PHNX Band.
  • 1.2 The Prize Draw will be open for entrants for the following “Promotion Period”: Friday, 2 May 2025, 08:00 a.m. to Sunday, 11 May 2025, 11:59 p.m.
  • 1.3 The “Prize” is Two (2) non-refundable, non-transferable, not-for-resale tickets to a performance by Nathan Evans and The SAINT PHNX Band at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Inverleith Row, Edinburgh EH3 5LR on Friday, June 6, 2025. There are 150 pairs of tickets to be won. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the event starts at 7:30 p.m. The timings of the event are subject to change.

 

  1. ELIGIBILITY
  • 2.1 The Prize Draw is open only to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry, excluding those living in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Entrants must also be based in the UK at that time. SAMH’s Income Generation and Fundraising team employees who are organising the Garden Sessions are not eligible to enter.
  • 2.2 In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

 

  1. HOW TO ENTER
  • 3.1 During the Promotion Period, you may enter the Prize Draw via text message by texting “GIG” to 84903.
  • 3.2 Text messages will be charged a £3 donation, charged via your mobile phone bill, which will be sent to SAMH. This donation will show on your mobile phone bill as a charge to 70313.
  • 3.3 After submitting your entry to the Prize Draw via text message, you will be sent an automatic bounce-back text message, giving you the option to opt out of the £3 donation to SAMH by responding with the word “NOCHARITY” within 30 minutes. If you opt out, you will not be charged the £3 donation and your entry into the Prize Draw will still be counted.
  • 3.4 All your text messages to us will also be charged at your standard network rates. Standard rate text messages to promotional numbers may not be included in ‘inclusive’ phone tariff packages and, where this is the case, you will still be charged. In all cases, please check with your service provider for more details and charges. If you are not the bill payer, you must obtain the bill payer’s permission before entering.
  • 3.5 We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay the delivery of text messages to and/or from us.
  • 3.6 For the safety of our entrants, and to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to win a Prize, you can only enter the Prize Draw a maximum of five (5) times in total via text message. Any entries above this limit will not be counted, and you may still be charged.
  • 3.7 The Prize Draw’s text message entry system is managed by Fonix Mobile PLC (“Fonix”).

 

  1. CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE
  • 4.1 Fonix will provide a single-use access key to winners for a ticketing website, from which the winner(s) can claim their Prize(s).
  • 4.2 Winners will be notified on Monday, 12 May 2025 at midday, and will have until midday on Wednesday, 14 May 2025 to claim their Prize.
  • 4.3 Winners must claim their Prize within forty-eight (48) hours of being notified. After this length of time, the access key will expire, and the Prize will be awarded to another entrant, selected at random.
  • 4.4 When claiming your Prize, you must give your full name, which will be displayed on the ticket(s). You will need to arrive with a valid, in-date photo ID matching this name to gain access to the Venue.

 

  1. CONDITIONS OF VENUE ENTRY
  • 5.1 Prizes are strictly non-transferable, non-refundable and not-for-resale. If you cannot attend the venue on the date of the event, please do not accept the Prize; therefore, it will be awarded to another entrant, selected at random.
  • 5.2 To attend the event, winners are required to:
    • a. Present a valid, in-date photo ID at the venue that matches the name of the winner as shown on the Prize (i.e. the tickets). Failure to do so will result in access to the venue being denied.
    • b. Ensure that anyone aged 14 or over but under 18 at the time of the event is accompanied by the winner, who must be an adult aged 18 or over.

 

  1. VENUE ACCESSIBILITY
  • 6.2 If you need to bring a support person or personal assistant, please contact the SAMH Income Generation and Fundraising team at gardensessions@samh.org.uk or call 0141 530 1028. An additional ticket will be provided for them, allowing you to give your original prize ticket to someone else of your choosing.
  • 6.3 SAMH will work with the venue to create the best possible experience for disabled guests, making all reasonable accommodations.
  • 6.4 SAMH will endeavour to maximise the number of accessible tickets that are available to winners, if the make-up of winners requires such accommodations. However, the number of available accessible tickets may be capped according to the venue’s requirements, which are beyond SAMH’s control. As such, accessible tickets are subject to availability.
  • 6.5 If you require accessible seating but find that none is available after contacting SAMH, we regret that this means the venue’s limit for accessible seating has already been met.
  • 6.6 You are encouraged to contact SAMH as early as possible upon winning a Prize with any accessibility requirements, so that SAMH has the greatest opportunity to assist you. In any event, you must inform SAMH of any specific accessibility requirements by contacting the SAMH Income Generation and Fundraising team at gardensessions@samh.org.uk or telephone 0141 530 1028 at least 7 days before the event.

 

  • DATA PROTECTION
  • 7.1 Your personal data, and the personal data of any guest(s) that you or they provide to us, will be collected and processed in accordance with the Specific Rules and our Privacy Policy (samh.org.uk/information/privacy-cookies).
  • 7.2 By entering the Prize Draw, you acknowledge that you may be contacted via SMS during the Promotion Period.
  • 7.3 By entering the Prize Draw, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Prize Draw will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject.
