A local community group, brought together by aromatherapy, massage and meditation, have put their best foot forward for Scotland’s mental health as they take on the 2023 Kiltwalk together.

Sandra Docherty, a Student Wellbeing Manager from West College Scotland, who leads the group said:

“The ladies have bonded and their confidence has improved since coming to the group.”

The group decided to take on the Kiltwalk for SAMH due to their previous shared experiences, including the impact of suicide, and the support offered to them by local SAMH service Gateways, which provides adults struggling with their mental health access to community resources.

SAMH would like to personally thank each member of the group for their commitment and dedication to improving Scotland's mental health, and can't wait to support them on their walk!
