Step Up
Step Up is an employability service that helps you learn new skills, build confidence and support your wellbeing, while working towards work, education, training or volunteering.
Over multiple weeks, you will take part in a weekly group session, but you will also have regular 1:1 meetings with a dedicated case worker to help you reach your personal goals.
The group sessions focus on personal development in relation to your wellbeing, but also in terms of your employability skills. SAMH have a bank of sessions that we can use to tailor delivery to the needs of the group - but we are happy to create more sessions based on what you want. Some of our sessions include:
- Anxiety Management
- Strengths & Goal Setting
- Self Esteem & Confidence
- Managing Your Wellbeing (Stress & resilience)
- Habit Building
- Applying for Jobs & CV Building
- Interview Skills
- Food & mood
